Kayak and Paddle Board Lessons

Entry level paddle board and kayak classes will be offered on Saturday mornings on June 7, July 12, and July 19. Introductory kayaking lessons will be offered June 7 and July 12, and paddleboard lessons will be offered July 19. All lessons will take place from 9 a.m. until noon at Hudson Springs Park. Safety training, instruction and equipment will be provided by Kent State University Recreational Services. Instruction is designed for people that have never kayaked or paddle boarded before, or for those wanting to improve their paddling skills. All classes are taught by certified instructors. The program is fun, informational, and based on the American Canoe Association's guidelines for kayaking and SUP. A fee is charged for this program.
